Sat, 25 February 2006 Welcome Konstrukt Podcast # 5 Sat. Feb. 25 2006. Hobbes is out this week, he has to do his real work, but I'm joined this week by Nem0nic a.k.a Craig Reeves from Charlotte, North Carolina.
This week we are raving about the M-Audio Trigger Finger. We discuss rumorizing from spigot about Technics 1200's with digital out. We also drool over the Alienware Laptops and over the Ultra Festival and WMC in Miami and go on to Rant some more about RIAA's latest assault on fair use provisions in law and we show the colors supporting EFF Electronic Frontier foundation.
We also talk about music download sites, territorial blocks and the use of proxy servers to solve your inability to purchase tracks that are not normally available in your region of the world. We tell people to be careful out there, and give shouts out to Staby, Dana, Karsten in Germany, and finish up dissing on NASCAR before letting DJ Shadow, Roots Maneuva and Unkle have the last word (GDMFSOB)

Mon, 20 February 2006 Welcome to volume # 4 of Konstrukt Feb 19 2006. This week coming from the wintery northern wastelands. Phil is joined this week by a cold Hobbes, who is humming nicely on Skype and is preparing to fix his broken ride.
We're talking this week about some of Pioneer's new products, compressed audio tests at Fabric in the UK, about neither of us being real journalists and it shows and we cover the price of buying an equipped Dell Core Duo. Plus, we also get the word on the optimus mini keyboard and talk about one or two things we've got coming up in future shows.
Enjoy

Sun, 12 February 2006 Welcome to the newly renamed Podcast. We changed names to avoid conflict with Mackie's sampler software of nearly the same name. Phil brings you Volume 3 on his lonesome on Feb 12 2006. The podcast shows you what happens when you let Phil loose with a shipload of music clips, a couple of new effects CDs, Acid 4.0 and a spare 2 hours.
Phil pays homage to 'The Chems', Tom & Ed for getting 'Galvanize' snapped up by Budweizer and admits to sleeping through Ritchies efforts on the Olympics.
We bring some info of a review on the Mackie D2 mixer, news about Homelands 2006 or not, plus a herkin' big helping of laptop buyers guide. Finally vague promises about a Kaos Pad and Traktor 3 effects and an unhealthy dose of scratching. Comments[0] |
